HOUSINGS

• #A356-T6 high strength and close grained impregnated aluminum alloy castings.

GEARING

• Planetary gears are hardened and precision tooth form ground. The Spiral Bevel gear set is precision cut, hardened, then matched and precision lapped. Worm and worm gear are a heat treated steel alloy and are precision thread ground and precision tooth form ground respectively. Worm is also available in bronze.

SHAFTS

• Hardened and Ground Steel Alloy
• Input & Output Shafts: 7/8” Dia.
• Adjustment Shaft : 1/2” Dia.
• Optional adjustment shaft lengths are available.

GEAR CAGE

• Ductile Iron

BEARINGS

• Input & Output Shaft are supported by opposed tapered roller bearings
• Planetary gears run on precision needle bearings.
• Adjustment shaft bearings of oil impregnated bronze.

SEALS

• All shafts & bearings are protected by double lip seals.

LUBRICATION

• AGMA #5EP / ISO 220 gear oil is used in a positive splash system, integral sump, capacity 22 Fl. Oz., with an oil level sight glass for easy observation. Each Phase Drive is supplied with a breather vent & magnetic oil drain plug.

MOUNTING STYLES

• The G-2200 Phase Drive is available in horizontal, vertical, and inverted mounting styles. There are several shaft arrangements offered, making a total of sixteen mounting styles available.
