ACWF President Underlines People-Centered Development Philosophy, Calls for Women to Contribute to Decisive Victory in Building Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects and Eradicating Poverty

The meeting of the standing committee of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) was held via video link on July 10 to summarize the ACWF's work in the first half of the year and deploy key tasks for the next several months.
Shen Yueyue, President of the ACWF, delivered a speech at the meeting. Shen stressed that the women's federations should perform their duties of guiding, serving and contacting women, and unite and lead women to contribute to a decisive victory in the battle against poverty and the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, presided over the meeting and delivered a working report.
At the meeting, representatives of the women's federations from eight provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions talked about how local women's federations had coordinated the epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development. They also shared their experience in caring for left-behind and disadvantaged children, carrying out innovative family work, making efforts in protecting girls' rights and interests, and advancing the Women's Action for Poverty Alleviation to lift women out of poverty.
